1. Liquidations & Insolvencies
Should you wish to liquidate your company/close corporation or sequestrate your individual estate our firm will assist in voluntarily surrendering your respective estate or we can appoint a friendly attorney to assist should the Court process be required.
2. Receiverships
Our firm can be appointed as a Receiver in litigious divorce proceedings or in a partnership where a Receiver is required to dispose of the assets in a neutral and fair manner.
3. Rehabilitation
Our firm has dealt with many sequestrations of individual estates and certain individuals want to be rehabilitated so that they can move forward with their lives as soon as possible once the winding up of their estate has been finalised. Our office has assisted many insolvents to bring applications for rehabilitation as prescribed under Section 124 of the Insolvency Act No. 24 of 1936 (as amended).
4. Debt Recovery & Creditor Support
Our firm has been advising individuals and companies to restructure their group of companies which may include the voluntary liquidation of certain entities. We have further provided assistance and support to companies and/or individuals who are creditors in liquidation and want to further understand the process of a liquidation and/or sequestration and who may require assistance in submitting claims in meetings of creditors.
5. Voluntary Liquidation
Our firm has become an industry leader in the voluntary liquidation of entities that are insolvent and over the years we have mandated to expedite the voluntary liquidation process to having companies placed under voluntary liquidation within three days.
6. Cross-Border Insolvency and Asset Recovery
Over the years our firm has become a leader in cross-border insolvency matters where we have sought recognition in many international jurisdictions for the purpose of recovering assets.
